U2l2: Fulfillment theme of Matthew
Student Work
When studying a book, generally it's a good idea to read the book. In light of this basic idea, I've created reading questions for the book of Matthew. We will check these several times a week to make sure you are progressing through the book and interacting with what you read.
If you find reading the material difficult there are several online audio Bibles available. I've linked to Bible Gateway but a quick search gives more results than you can shake a stick at.

U2L3: Parables of Matthew
Student Work
We will interpret all 19 of the parables in the book of Matthew in student groups. Your group will be responsible for 4-5 parables (depending on the ease of interpretation)

Unit 2 Assessment
The Gospels and Matthew can take the better part of a month to get through depending on the quality of our discussions. I don't expect you to memorize every detail of what we cover. As a result, we will substitute the Unit test for an essay covering the some of the major themes of Matthew. Most likely the essay will be 500-600 words.
