8th Grade math - Transition mathematics

This math course marks a change as you (the student) transition from concrete ways of knowing and venture into the world of abstraction. This year, we’ll have an exciting time as we search for patterns in the world around us and try to describe them using the language of math. We will then reflect on how reading from the book of creation allows us to learn about our Heavenly Father.

We're also going to try something crazy this year, we're going to attempt to 'flip' our math classroom chapter by chapter. I will do my best to link to Khan Academy videos when I can. Are you ready?

Class Examples and Sample Problems

Homework questions and sample problems created using Explain Everything on the iPad. Unlike our attempt to use EduCreations, you will not need to create an account to watch these lessons.
If you still want to take a look at the old lessons on EduCreations you can find them here.
