Side lengths of triangle:
Hypotenuse = 650 ft.
Use rulers to find the other lengths along with proportions.
y = (562.6-x)/5 + (sqrt(325.6^2 + x^2))/2 where x is the distance from the perpendicular to the road from the people.
[x = 142.1]
Sequel:
6. Where would the taco cart have to be so that both people would reach it at the same time?
7. Draw the point where you think the taco cart should be.
